Support from YK Energy to ease the burden of parents
YK Enerji distributed stationery materials to 750 students in 14 village schools
YK Enerji, which produces 2.5 percent of the electricity needed by Turkey using domestic energy sources, continues to provide educational support to students studying in villages in the region in addition to the employment opportunities it provides to local people. Aiming to ease the burden of families by being on the side of parents, YK Enerji met the school needs of 750 students studying in 14 village primary schools in Milas within the scope of the “Back to School” project on the first day of the opening of schools.
YK Enerji, one of the most important employers providing local employment in the Muğla region, has added another one to the social responsibility projects it has realized in the region. YK Enerji, 75 percent of whose employees are local residents, aimed to stand by the parents with the “Back to School” project and support the education costs of families.
Within the scope of the project, YK Energy distributed a stationery set consisting of pencils, notebooks, pencil cases, erasers, pencil sharpeners, picture books and crayons and a school bag to 750 elementary school students in 14 village schools in Milas before the first lesson bell of the 2023-2024 academic year.
